RCD Espanyol Esports and FC Barcelona Esports compete in DreamHack Valencia

The best Rocket League teams in the world rank in the top-third

After Leipzig and Dallas, the city of Valencia was the next host for DreamHack, an event which saw the 32 best teams in the world of Rocket League go head to head, among which were RCD Espanyol eSports and FC Barcelona eSsports, both managed by Esportia. They competed over three days for a total prize of $100,000.

The event hosted two simultaneous streaming channels from which most of the competitions could be followed live. RCD Espanyol eSports was part of group D, along with NRG Esports, Rogue, and Dignitas. FC Barcelona eSports was part of group B, along with G2, Ghost Gaming, and The Bricks.

Two days of the competition were dedicated to qualifiers and one for the playoffs. RCD Espanyol Esports failed to reach the playoffs after a very close match against GC Aura Esports, while FC Barcelona Esports continued to the first phase of the playoffs, where they face The Bricks.

PSG Esports took home the championship, after winning in the final against North American NRG. According to the organization, the event attracted 65,000 people.
