Three Esportia teams have found success in the tournament

With only six days remaining in the ESL Masters, things could not be more exciting. The sixth day promised tension, and its results left hotly contested bracket to be played out over the remaining days. Six teams now stand ready to fight for a playoffs position.

The first two games allowed RCD Espanyol to equal ARG for the second place in the competition. Crazy Crew debuted beating ARG while RCD Espanyol eSports themselves took down Villarreal CF Esports, who are no longer eligible for the playoffs alongside Besiktas Esports.

FC Barcelona had already played the week before, and their players are focused on the DreamHack Pro Circuit in Dallas that week but still found time to beat ARG and Besiktas, securing first place in the regular season.

The third and final day FekyX Esports beat Getafe 2-0. This unexpected result created a five-way tie between second and sixth places. The decisive last day will feature the first Barcelona derby in esports history, Barça vs. Espanyol, starting 20:15 on the 6th.

In 15 days four teams will move onto the playoffs

The fifth edition of the ESL Masters features a brand new Rocket League competition. On the second to last day, about a half of the competing teams were represented by Esportia.

Getafe opened the day with an impressive 2-0 win over Crazy Crew in a competition that will no doubt be important in determining which four teams move onto the playoffs. Meanwhile, Espanyol, who is tied with Getafe at nine points in the competition, beat FekyX Esports 2-1.

Villarreal got first victory of the season with a 2-0 over Beskitas, though the team is too far behind at this point to reach the playoffs on May 30th.

The most outstanding team is, without a doubt, FC Barcelona who enjoys a comfortable six-point advantage. Barca played two matches during the day beating both opponents, ARG and Besiktas, taking the top spot in the league and securing a place in the finals to be played the third weekend of June.
